Hunter Muraira

I am husband, father of two and a believer that how you live your life should mirror how you lead your work: with empathy, energy, curiosity, and a deep sense of purpose.

I grew up in the Bay Area during the golden eras of San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco. The culture of those cities - skateboarding, hip-hop, art, and streetwear shaped who I am and how I see the world. That foundation drives everything I do: creating work that’s impactful, influential and contributes to youth culture.

For 19 years, I called Nike Inc. home 1 year with Savier, 14 years with Nike SB, and 4 years with Jordan Brand. Along the way, I had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with some of the most creative, visionary minds in product, design, marketing and business. These experiences shaped my approach to building brands that connect culturally, emotionally, and commercially.

Most recently, I brought that expertise to the fast-paced world of e-commerce, eBay sneakers - leading business development, partnerships, and demand creation. There, I honed my ability to drive cross-functional, data informed strategies that deliver both brand heat and revenue.
